Author Jasmine (Katja Schuurman) is struggling with a serious case of writer's block after causing a fatal accident. The only thing she still writes are countless - unanswered - letters to Wim, the widower of the victim. Jasmine realizes that she cannot continue living like this and makes a rather radical decision; Without telling anyone, she packs her bags and leaves for Morocco where Wim runs a hotel. While her sister and publisher try to figure out where she is, Jasmine and Wim forge an unexpected friendship under the Moroccan sun. However, Jasmine still needs to find the right moment to reveal who she truly is.
